The shopping perspective

Menswear where designer fashion meets everyday sportswear.

Très Bien is a Malmö-based multi-brand menswear retailer whose selection brings designer fashion, sportswear and streetwear together. Its appeal is the combination: you can explore a more directional garment alongside casual layers and footwear, rather than treating those as separate wardrobes. The retailer’s edit is the starting point; the individual item supplies the details that determine whether it works for you.

Its official introduction dates this approach to 2006. Today the online shop separates labels, clothing, footwear and accessories, giving you several ways into the selection. It is a retailer’s own edit, rather than an open marketplace of independent sellers.

Four ways into the selection

  • Begin with a designer. The brands directory ↗ helps when you already know a label’s shapes or want to investigate a new one. Compare the selected pieces with the house’s wider collection if range matters: a retailer’s edit is selective, and a label listing does not establish availability of a particular size.
  • Build around a garment. Clothing ↗ separates outerwear, knitwear, shirts, denim and trousers. An outer layer sets the silhouette; knitwear and shirts change how it layers. Compare composition, cut and measurements against a garment you own. A loose trouser and a compact jacket create a different balance from an oversized coat over a narrow base.
  • Choose footwear for the outfit. The footwear route ↗ separates sneakers, shoes, boots and sandals. Decide whether the outfit needs a casual sole, a more structured shoe or coverage from a boot, then check the exact model’s sizing and materials. The same stated size across different makers is not a fit guarantee.
  • Add a smaller design or cultural reference. Accessories ↗ includes bags, eyewear, scarves and publications. A bag needs dimensions and carrying options; eyewear needs frame measurements. Publications offer a different kind of discovery from clothing, so check the title, edition and content description rather than treating them as a wardrobe accessory.

Where to shop or ask

Use the online categories above and the Help page ↗ for e-store enquiries at [email protected]. Send the product name or reference and the measurement or material question you need answered. The HQ Store page ↗ still reported renovations when checked on 27 October 2026, with no firm reopening date. Contact the store before planning a Malmö visit; the company/dispatch address on Help is a different location.

Who it suits — and the trade-offs

Our editorial view: Très Bien suits shoppers who enjoy combining designers with a casual or experimental direction and are willing to assess individual pieces. The trade-off is that a strong edit can be narrower than a broad menswear catalogue. Compare MR PORTER for outfit-led editorial discovery across menswear, or SSENSE for another multi-brand fashion perspective. Start with a defined wardrobe need so novelty does not replace usefulness.

Practical information

Select the destination country before checking shipping and the total cost. Help lists country-dependent delivery routes and warns that import costs may be additional. For returns, use the return portal ↗ and applicable regional terms ↗; the portal process asks for an order number and postcode. Older regional return pages describe a different paper-form process, so confirm which instructions and fees apply to your order with customer service. Keep original packaging and labels while assessing fit, and do not assume in-store returns are possible while the HQ is under renovation.
