Watches of Switzerland
The home of luxury watches.

History

Watches of Switzerland was founded in London in 1924 and has grown to become the leading luxury watch retailer in the United Kingdom and a major player in the United States following its acquisition of Mayors Jewelers and several US boutiques. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and operates over 200 showrooms across the UK, USA and Europe, including mono-brand boutiques for Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet alongside its multi-brand Watches of Switzerland showrooms.

The Portfolio

Watches of Switzerland is one of only a small number of retailers worldwide authorised to carry and display the full range of Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet — the three most sought-after Swiss watch brands. The group also carries IWC, Omega, TAG Heuer, Breitling, Longines and many other Swiss manufacturers. Access to allocated pieces — particularly Rolex sports models — is managed through waiting lists for registered clients.

Showrooms

The flagship showrooms are architecturally significant retail spaces designed to present watches as luxury objects rather than consumer goods. The Watches of Switzerland showroom in Covent Garden, London, occupies a spectacular underground space beneath the Piazza. US showrooms in New York, Las Vegas and Miami anchor the American operation. Each showroom employs dedicated brand specialists with deep product knowledge.

Online

The Watches of Switzerland website carries the full portfolio across the group's brands, with detailed specifications and high-resolution photography. Online purchasing is available for many pieces; allocated models (Rolex, Patek, AP) are primarily sold in-store. The site offers virtual consultations with watch specialists and condition-checked pre-owned watches through the Certified Pre-Owned programme.
